Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Chatmaid Developers API, dashboard, MCP server, SDKs, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by ChatMaid Inc, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, generating an API key, or sending a request to the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Usage Agreement

The Service is intended for legitimate personal or business messaging through WhatsApp numbers you own or have explicit permission to operate. Any misuse of the Service — including but not limited to unsolicited bulk messaging, scraping third-party contact lists, sending to recipients without prior consent, phishing, fraud, or any activity that would classify your traffic as spam — is strictly prohibited. Users must refrain from using the Service for any unlawful, unethical, or improper purposes. Any actions that contravene these Terms can result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and revocation of your API keys, without liability on ChatMaid Inc, LLC’s part. You are solely responsible for any consequences stemming from being categorized as a spammer or having a connected number banned by WhatsApp.

API Keys and Security

You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential. We treat any request authenticated with your key as authorized by you. If a key is exposed (committed to a repository, shared in a screenshot, etc.), you must rotate it immediately from the dashboard. We are not liable for usage incurred through compromised keys.

Disclaimer of Liability

ChatMaid Inc, LLC, its affiliates, and employees bear no responsibility or liability for any misuse of the Service. Users are solely accountable for their actions and the resulting consequences while using the Service. In no event will ChatMaid Inc, LLC be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost revenue, even if ChatMaid Inc, LLC has been made aware of the possibility of such damage.

Third-Party Applications

The Service is designed to interface with WhatsApp. ChatMaid Inc, LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc. in any way. We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the continuous compatibility of the Service with WhatsApp. ChatMaid Inc, LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for any issues, losses, or damage that may arise from using WhatsApp or any changes or modifications to its policies or terms of use that may affect the Service’s functionality.

Service Availability

ChatMaid Inc, LLC cannot guarantee the availability or uninterrupted operation of the Service. There may be instances when the Service becomes unavailable due to factors beyond our control, such as upstream WhatsApp outages, technical issues, system maintenance, or force majeure events. ChatMaid Inc, LLC shall not be liable for any damage or losses resulting from such unavailability.

Pricing and Plans

We offer two tiers:

• Sandbox. Free, no credit card. Includes sandbox API keys (sk_test_*) and a fully simulated message lifecycle for development and testing.
• Production. $7.99 per month, includes one connected phone number, production API keys (sk_live_*), signed webhooks, and unlimited messages from that number. Additional connected phone numbers are billed at $2.99 per month each, prorated.

Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard with no minimum commitment.

Non-Refundable Payment

All payments made for the Service are non-refundable. Once a subscription period has begun, no refunds will be issued for the current period regardless of usage. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access through the end of the paid period. By making a payment, you acknowledge and agree that your payment is for the immediate provision of the Service and waive any rights to a “cooling-off” period or cancellation refund.

Intellectual Property

The Service and all included content — text, design, graphics, interfaces, code, documentation, and their arrangement — are owned by ChatMaid Inc, LLC. The Chatmaid MCP server is published under its own open-source license; usage of code we release as open source is governed by that license. Apart from what we explicitly open-source, you do not acquire any ownership rights through use of the Service.

Customer Content

You retain ownership of the messages, contacts, and other content you transmit through the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and process Customer Content solely to provide the Service. You represent that you have all rights necessary to transmit Customer Content and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right.

Terms of Changes

ChatMaid Inc, LLC reserves the right to change its pricing, features, or service model at any time. Where reasonable, we will provide advance notice of material changes by email or dashboard banner. Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.

Changes to These Terms

ChatMaid Inc, LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of changes will indicate your acceptance and agreement to the changes.
